It is very important to remember all of the places you have experienced throughout the time you traveled no matter the duration you stayed.
The best trip of my life was going to Phoenix, Arizona. I really enjoyed it when I went to Phoenix, Arizona to perform at the Rutgers Rate Bowl Game with the marching scarlet knights. When I went to Phoenix with the Rutgers marching scarlet knights, it was the first time I traveled on a charter plane in my life. After I got to Phoenix, me and the marching band performed in the pep rally throughout the boardwalk before entering the Chase Field ballpark which was the best moment of the Rate Bowl game. Anyway, I had so much fun performing in the stands at Chase Field throughout my Phoenix trip amid our Rutgers football team’s 41-44 loss to Kansas State.
The best trip of my life was when I traveled to Indianapolis, IN. As I traveled to Indianapolis, IN, it was the first time that I went on a Big Ten Tournament trip with the Rutgers pep band. Moreover, I went to Indianapolis, IN with some of the members in my pep band for the women’s basketball big ten tournament. As I was in Indianapolis for the women’s big ten tournament trip with the pep band, I got to perform in the stands at the Pacers arena which is “Gainbridge Fieldhouse.”
What I liked about my Indianapolis trip was being able to go to the mall especially with a ton of down time and then Dave and Buster’s to conclude the overnight trip. We had to go to Dave and Buster’s because of our flight date change from the expected travel back.
The bets trip of my life was going to Greeley, Pennsylvania with my high school marching band for band camp after having pre-camp in my local town of Westfield, NJ. The names of the camps in Greeley, PA that me and my high school’s marching band went to included Lake Owego which was freshmen and sophomore year and then Timber Tops that was my senior year. However, I did not get to go to Greeley, PA with my high schools marching band in junior year due to COVID. I really liked going to Greeley, PA for band camp back in high school because it was very good preparation for the season before the school year started. Furthermore, I really enjoyed the routine between morning, afternoon, and evening block at band camp on a Greeley, PA trip which was the key principle for the preparation throughout the overnight trip.
Another thing that I liked throughout my overnight trip in Greeley, PA back in high school was participating in the student vs. teacher corn hole tournament at Camp Timber Tops and watching the student vs. teacher basketball game at Lake Owego. These were all activities that I did after evening block throughout my time there. I was also very lucky to have my senior night celebration dinner at Camp Timber Tops and also the bonfire to reflect on my experiences throughout my high school marching band career.
The best trip of my life was going on a trip with band to Newark, Delaware. Back when I was a freshmen in high school, I went on a marching band trip to the University of Delaware for a Bands of America regional event. The best moment from when I went to University of Delaware in Newark, DE for a Bands of America event was making the finals. I also went there with my wind ensemble class back when I was a senior in high school which was a day trip.
The best trip of my life was going to College Park, Maryland. I went to College Park, MD back as a sophomore and senior in high school to perform at the University of Maryland in the Bands of America Regional prelims and finals. Throughout my trip in College Park, MD before COVID hit, I was very pleased about getting the opportunity to have a night time rehearsal which showed a big benefit to me and my high school’s marching band improving on finals place from my freshmen year when I was a sophomore.
The best trip of my life was going to Venice, Italy with my family. When I was in Venice, I really enjoyed going to the Vivaldi concert to hear an ensemble play one of his pieces called “Four Seasons of Spring.” Another thing that I liked about Venice was riding the boats. Therefore, Venice was the best part of my Italy trip that I went on.
The best trip of my life was going to Spain especially traveling to the cities of Madrid, Malaga, and Barcelona. Back when I went to Madrid, I went to go watch the soccer team of Atletico Madrid and attended a bullfight event with my family. One thing that I like about my trip in Spain was going to the Museo Picasso in Malaga. I really liked looking at all the paintings that Pablo Picasso published at the Museo Picasso which showed a great inspiration to me and my family throughout our time in Malaga.
